A few weeks ago, I saw this status on Facebook.
(You don’t know her, I promise)
Girl: we’re being evicted. poverty sucks.
Response 1: no good
Response 2: sorry to hear that hope all is well
Is this whole status funny to anyone else but me?
Really – I hate to say it’s funny because I really do feel bad that the girl is being evicted… but “Response 2″ replies, “hope all is well.” Freak. Of course “all” is not well – didn’t you read?! We’re being evicted. Morons.
Anyway… while I am on words… let’s talk very briefly about text messages.
I absolutely cannot stand it when you have a “signature line” in your text message. If you have one, please delete it before sending me a text. I don’t understand the point of this at all.
Signature lines were meant to be added to the bottom of emails – generally work emails, as a professional way to insert your contact info. Text messages are not a professional form of communication, so odds are, if you are texting me, it is not for work/professional reasons… so lose the signature line. Thank you.
I agree 100%! LOSE THE SIGNATURE LINE! NOW!
You don’t like my signature?
Nicole Brennan? haha
