Happy New Year

Our New Year’s Eve was a fun evening.
We started our evening with our friends, Dan & Debi. We had a drink with them and some mutual friends… then traveled to the home of Kyle & Casey. We had drinks and snacks with them – and more mutual friends. A little later, we stopped at the W to check in with buddies there.
We were back home around 11:15, so I could watch the fireworks from my back deck. I am lucky enough to be able to see the displays from Buckhead and Dunwoody, without having to fight their traffic. We watched the ball drop on television, called my parents… and said goodbye to 2009.

We don’t have any real new year’s resolutions… I’m tired of making goals and plans that I probably don’t intend to keep. Not making resolutions is the easiest way for me not to be disappointed later.
Tomorrow I go back to work. I’ve enjoyed my 4.5 days off!
I did get a few scrapbook pages done, though not as many as I’d hoped… I have some free weekends coming up where I plan to work on them again.

If you ever do any online shopping, I would like to ask you to join my BlastOff Network. It’s a totally free site where they pay you a percentage back of the purchases you make online. A few of their many online stores include BestBuy, Barnes&Noble, Kohl’s, OldNavy and Target. It’s quite an extensive list, and I’d love for you to check it out.
