SSDD

Have you ever felt like you have a lot to say… but don’t quite know how to get started in saying (or typing) it all?
Actually, truth be known… I don’t think I really have that much to say.
My parents are traveling in the Northwestern part of the U.S., and they’ve been gone almost a month - still, when my mom calls… I can’t think of a single interesting thing to tell her. It’s always just, SSDD, that I tell her - just working…. nothing new. I suppose all the things I think about on a daily basis just aren’t worth saying aloud, or even posting.

Our 4th of July weekend was relatively uneventful… other than a few trips to Winston’s and my adventures in cat-sitting.
I spent a few hours on Friday with a friend by her pool. Though I was offered sunscreen, I chose to try and get burnt instead. The sun was in and out throughout the afternoon, and it never really got that hot.
I used sunscreen/block on the cruise, and came back looking like I spent my cruise indoors! I succeeded in getting some sun over the weekend - nothing too painful or unbearable, but just enough to keep a slight summer glow.

I am happy to see that Jeff Francoeur is back in Atlanta. He was sent to AA Mississippi last week for more practice. At least the Braves are willing to work with him instead of trading him - I would hate for him to leave ATL.
But… now that he’s back, he needs to shave that “dirt” of his face.

The past two evenings we’ve had big storms here, complete with lots of thunder and loud lightning crashes. Finally my grass will look better!
Yes, I remembered to unplug the computers!
The rain is much welcomed, and I am just thankful that I haven’t had to drive in it!
