I need Jeans
I’m in the market for new jeans.
Lately, I’m having a very difficult time finding the “perfect” pair. I need something long for (sort-of) tall people. I really like the 34″ inseam.
I don’t have a preference on the color of the denim. I’ve found that the juniors sizes are awful on me, and women’s sizes - well, I don’t have a big butt… and I don’t want pleats!
I want a mid rise… something right around or just below my belly button.
I had some awesome DKNY jeans - but, they’ve been discontinued! (Why does it seem that the things I like always get discontinued?!!) I used to wear the (old style) American Eagle “Favorite” jeans, but now those jeans’ rise is… well, really, really low.
So - any ideas? I don’t think I am being that picky - I just think I am too old to be young…. but too young to be old. Suggestions are much appreciated!

This reminds me of the time Angela called me from a dressing room (in obvious distress) and said, “Help me! I don’t know if I am 18 or 80!!”

I really the like the jeans by A.N.A. (found it in JC Penny). The short fit me really well so I’m hoping the long would do well for you. Its a good in between age brand…not too low, not too high. Good luck.

I buy all my jeans from Maurice’s now. They are comfortable, and not too low!

yeah, it seems we’re fighting the “mom” jeans thing now. we’re too old to look good in juniors, but not desperate enough to EVER WANT the “mom” jeans. i’m with you there. and i know alllllllll about stuff being discontinued. even when it comes to food items i like, it seems that when i find it, they quit making it! *sigh*. i give up.

Gosh, honey, I have the same problem. Calvin Kleins seem to have the perfect rise for me, not too low, not too high. Try them out and see. They also come in long for our long legs (thank you God for them!).

I will have to say that I am a Tommy fan! The “boyfriend cut” is amazing and i buy long for my short self! Try them they are great!!

I am a TOTAL jeans snob…. Joe’s jeans are the BEST!!! Pricey, but you TOTALLY get what you pay for!!!
