Just Another Day

Today is Steven’s birthday.
He said he didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, because it’s just another day. He feels no different today than when he was 21.
It’s interesting how when you get older, birthdays do become “just another day.” As a kid, I anxiously awaited my birthday for days, probably even weeks before. These days, when someone asks what I want for my birthday, I can’t come up with a single thing!
Steven is the same way - he says, what we want, we just buy. So there’s never anything specific that we want when our birthdays roll around. Tonight, Steven wants pizza. That’s it. That’s his main want for his birthday. He’s been talking about it all day.

It’s amazing the things we have experienced and accomplished in our 30 and 35 years. We have lived and loved, seen and done… and we’re still young - there are so many more things to see and do over the years we have ahead of us.
Happy Birthday, SB! Here’s to many more happy, healthy ones! :)
