Cruise Countdown: one day plus hours…
Our cruise has been booked for so long… that, though I was excited… it didn’t really seem like a reality.
Now it is getting sooo close, and I’ve got boat-itis. This translates to something along the line of pure laziness and the unwillingness to want to work.
I still have several things to do as far as packing goes – I do have a list though! My list makes me look like a really big dork, as I have clothes put together as they will be worn during the trip. I just don’t want to forget anything – and while I realize that I’m probably taking way too many clothes… all of my stuff (and most of Steven’s) will fit into one suitcase!
I called my cell phone provider to check on international rates for our trip… and though I already have international calling on my phone (for calls to Germany), the rates differ for different countries. Well, while traveling on a boat… the calls will cost me $4.95 per minute! So, needless to say, my phone will be OFF for the weekend.

I hope you have the best time!!! You are so right about the cell phone…I gave in to the temptation to turn mine on when I was in Mexico, received a text message, and got charged $2.00. ARGH!
PS The careful packing of the suitcase is a great idea – that way, you don’t have to ever spend vacation time matching outfits!
