The New Sales Rep

Yesterday I began calling on clients.
I like talking to most of the people- but some are just not real interested in being friendly. “I’m your new sales rep,” I tell them.. and they’re just kind of like, “okay…” -hello?! I want to be cool with them, and help them– I don’t want to sound like a nag, like I only want their money. Anyway… so it was slow yesterday, getting started with them… and today so far has been pretty slow- no triumphs to report, but also no negatives. I’d like to get just one sale today- nothing huge, but just something- something that would make me feel like my work has been successful.
