Well, our move was successful… and we’ve done nothing but run like crazy all weekend!
Friday night, we enjoyed dinner at the Brickery with Mama Grace and Steven’s cousins, Michael and Ben. Saturday, we were up early to do some running around. I succeeded in finding silver shoes for Dana’s wedding- finally!
Actually I did find the perfect shoes at Bloomingdales, but alas, they were $210!! How about no?! DSW had the next perfect shoes on clearance for $21 – SCORE! I also bought a broomstick/gypsy skirt at Dillards.
Next, Steven and I shopped for new cell phone plans. At my friends’ advice… and after price comparing… I’ve decided to go with T-Mobile. I look forward to getting my new phone and new phone number tomorrow night! My current number’s voice mail will tell you the new number if you need it!
Last night, Steven and I had drinks at the Rock Bottom Brewery, then met Dana and Adam for dinner at Alfredo’s. It was fun… but really weird not to have our typical outing at Fanatics.
I talked to Robin yesterday afternoon… and got sorta sad when we talked about the TRI and our friends there… I suppose it will just take time for me to feel like this is really home.
Tomorrow we start work — my first day! I have to be there at 8:30a. I’m nervous… but also excited. Wish me luck!
